It’s not the best result in the world, nor was the quality of play, but Derby returned from playing the Saints with a much needed point on Saturday.

The game was rather messy with no real threats on goal from either team but the Rams managed to keep the home side to a nil-nil draw, even though Saints’ Kenwyne Jones and Darren Moore failed to convert from fair enough chances.
