Rams 0-1 Sheffield Utd
Things aren’t exactly looking rosy for the Rams at the moment. Struggling without any official manager, the boys took a 3rd loss in a row thanks to a 12th minute goal from new Blade Ade Akinbiyi.
It was a slow and uneventful evening for the boys at home which didn’t get much better throughout the game. Michael Johnson saw red from the ref (which is being contested) in the second half after a difficult (ok, harsh) tackle on Paul Ifill. Later in the game, ten-man Rams were offered a spot kick after a dodgy handball from Chris Armstrong but Tommy Smith couldn’t convert when Paddy Kenny saved his shot.
It’s quite a depressing moment for Ram’s fans at the moment but hopefully there should be an appointed manager by the weekend to lift spirits for the next game down at Southampton.
