Beating Stockport and Giving Up

Derby managed to break the pattern of early exits from the Carling Cup with a win over Stockport thanks to a tap in from captain Michael Johnson. It looks like the boss is happy too!
Derby have also given up hope of trying to sign striker Freddy Eastwood from Southend.
